New Hire: Daniel Carson Joins Cyclops as VP of Strategy

Paysafe and zerohash veteran joins the Cyclops leadership team

We’re excited to welcome Daniel Carson as Cyclops’ new VP of Strategy.

Daniel joins Cyclops after two and a half years at Paysafe, where he led the crypto vertical strategy, new revenue generation and partnerships. He spearheaded the launch of Paysafe’s crypto products all the way from the initial evaluation of solution providers to product testing and go-live. He also launched Paysafe’s Crypto Validator Program.

Before Paysafe, Daniel specialized in the payments platforms vertical at zerohash, selling crypto infrastructure to acquirers, processors, remittance companies and on/off-ramps, while also managing partnerships. Earlier in his career, he spent nearly six years in traditional finance at BNP Paribas and Citi, focused on corporate FX and cross-border payments in New York City and Singapore.

With more than a decade of experience across payments, crypto and financial services, Daniel has seen firsthand how fragmented the provider landscape is. Having recently built stablecoin products at Paysafe with multiple partners, he was drawn to Cyclops’ vision of unified stablecoin infrastructure designed specifically for payments companies: one API, one contract and one onboarding, with global infrastructure delivered through multiple tier-one providers and built-in redundancy.

As a member of the leadership team, Daniel will help shape overall strategy at Cyclops, working closely with the co-founders on everything from go-to-market to product strategy.
